an early start
I was a curious and fearless child. I jumped in the deep end before I could swim and skipped over the tricycle phase – hopping right onto a two-wheeler. Also, I was intuitive — I knew things beyond my years.
I also had a practical side that ultimately led to professions where left brain dominance is essential. While I dotted my i’s and crossed my t’s, the real key to my professional success stemmed from my ability to think beyond left brain dominance – to “read the field” and manage information flow from both conventional and unconventional sources.
train wrecks & dreams
I honed my ability to see all the situational potentials leading to a proverbial train wreck over thirty-odd years in corporate management. Eventually, I wondered why others were not seeing the wrecks for themselves. I wanted to know how I did this, so I began a combined Masters/Doctor of Philosophy in Wisdom Studies. Part of my coursework was dreamwork, and one of my own dreams revealed my true calling.
In my dream, cars were running scarily amok on the road. Suddenly a turquoise 1956 Roadmaster appeared and showed me how to tap intuitively into the unspoken feelings of the other drivers, seeing connections through the chaos. This Master revealed that the Road could be a richer experience by being open to other sources of information.
field guide
Today I work as a field guide for the “crossover curious”. I provide a road map to find meaning and joy in simply being. You learn to trust your intuition, follow your dreams, and navigate by way of signs and symbols. You learn to work with the subtle power of consciousness to reshape your life.
